Here's a monster Telecaster you won't see every day! This interesting, one-of-a-kind Tele was built by a Custom Shop employee after hours. The result is an exceptional guitar—built with every bit of quality you'd expect from the Custom Shop quality—but with unique specs and fortunately a much friendlier price tag.
This one starts with a Greg Fessler body finished in gorgeous blue metallic flake sparkle. The finish is accented perfectly by a pearloid guard and silver pearl top binding. Add a Fender-licensed Bigsby and chrome hardware all around, and you've got a flashy Telecaster that will turn heads.
Under the hood, you'll find a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker in the neck position and a hot (7.11, nice match for the HB!) un-labeled Fender telecaster pickup in the bridge. The result is nice balance and impressive versatility, even with the limited T-style controls. Tune to open G, and this one nails the Keef sound.
The neck is a nice piece of quarter-sawn Maple with an Ebony fingerboard that has a 10" radius and medium jumbo frets. It sports a very thin matte finish for the nice, raw wood feel. Top that off with chrome a "Fender Telecaster" decal and Fender-branded Klusons (with white buttons, to boot), and you've got one great-sounding, eye-catching one-of-a-kind Fender classic.
Based on the pot codes, this Blue Sparkle Telecaster was likely built around 2013. It is in excellent condition, and it includes a Fender tweed big bag.
