The Way Huge Saffron Squeeze delivers thick, squishy compressed tones. But with three additional controls for Gain, Tone, and Attack, it's more flexible than other compressor pedals. Those three controls help you tweak the compression to your liking and shape your sound. The main controls—Volume and Sustain—are straightforward and function like other compressor pedals. Volume sets the output volume, and Sustain adjusts the amount of compression.
The three additional controls make the Saffron Squeeze sepcial because they add an impressive amount ofvariability. Gain sets the input gain level, and that helps you color the guitar sound before it hits the compression. Then, the Tone adjusts the post-compression high-end—you can cut it back or turn it wide open. Attack manipulates the compressor's reaction speed, which changes the character of your picking attack.
