In 1934, the 14-fret 00-18 rolled out of Nazareth, Pennsylvania. In those days, this charming small-body was overshadowed by louder 000s and Dreadnoughts. But in the decades since, many players have discovered the advantages of a comfortable, responsive, and well-balanced small-body Martin. From the first chord, the 00-18 delivers impressive bass presence for a small body. Notes up and down the fingerboard ring out with woody mahogany character. It's an easy guitar to mic in the studio, but it'll sound great on stage, too.

Refreshed for 2025 with Golden Era specs to enhance tone, comfort, and style, the 00-18 now has the same Spruce GE-Scalloped top bracing you find on the Modern Deluxe Series. The bracing helps the model consistently deliver vintage-inspired tone and sustain, and updates like a reimagined neck profile, thinner fingerboard, and refined bridge and heel improve playability and aesthetics.

The tried-and-true wood complement of Sitka Spruce and Mahogany deliver a sweet sound. The short scale makes the 00-18 a great fit for fingerpickers, but it can still handle a pick. The scalloped braces under the hood lend nice response and projection with a softer touch. As for appointments, the understated elegance of Martin Style-18 provides a timeless aesthetic that allows the beauty of fine tonewoods and a well-crafted instrument to shine through.
