Limited edition vinyl LP reissue from 2013. Digitally remastered for superior sound in 2013, the Allman Brothers classic "Brothers and Sisters" celebrated it's 40th anniversary, as a platinum-selling southern rock classic! The original 1973 pressing was the first complete album recorded without the recently deceased Duane Allman and Berry Oakley. This album also saw the addition of Chuck Leavell on piano and Lamar Williams on bass. Dickey Betts remained solo on lead guitar and shared vocal duties with Gregg Allman. Reinvention didn't slow the band down at all, as they scored huge hits on "Ramblin' Man" and "Jessica." The album peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with "Ramblin' Man" stalling out at #2 on the Hot 100 Singles chart and "Jessica" topping out at #65 on the same chart. This imported remastered album is a limited edition.
