Anyone who knows Telluride knows that Telluride Town Park is the best outdoor live music venue on the planet. Each year, it hosts the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, the Ride Festival, the Telluride Jazz Celebration, and the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival. In the past, it has also hosted incredible events such as the KOTO Doo-Dah and one-off concerts by the likes of Neil Young, Phish, and many others. Thanks to a permanent year-round stage, Town Park continues to accommodate cutting edge music events year after year.
The Fred Shellman Memorial Stage was built in 1991 and used through the 2015 summer season. Its final show was Gregg Allman in September of 2015. "The Loading Dock Twins" are two guitars built from one board salvaged from the loading dock of the Fred Shellman Stage. This "Fred Shellman Stage Pine" is heavily weathered from years of use, and it is imbued with unparalleled mojo. Thanks to years of positive vibrations, each guitar is highly resonant, and each is both an eye-catching Telluride souvenir and incredibly usable and versatile instrument.
This S-Style Partscaster features a Fender-Licensed Mighty Mite Stratocaster maple neck and Mojotone '59 pickups. It has a Wilkinson tremolo assembly, and its a clear lucite pickguard is a nice touch to show off the grain of the wood and the electronics. This is a versatile instrument based on an iconic template. Hardshell case included.
