Building from Kauer's hugely-popular Titan series, the Korona is a California classic reimagined. Ash body, 25.5" scale with a bolt on Maple neck—the result is a highly customizable template that is versatile in every setting. The Korona Supreme is the Thinline version, and it produces a warmer, bigger sound that is not as sharp as the traditional solid Ash Korona.
This Korona Supreme (#345) was built to channel some of that '70s Thinline vibe. Kauer nailed it, but it a way that feels clever and characteristically Kauer. This Korona Thinline features a Blonde-finished semi-hollow Ash Body and an incredible Roasted Maple neck and fingerboard. The C-shape neck feels fantastic, and the Roasted look is accented beautifully with pearloid inlays.
For pickups, this Korona sports Lollar Regals to capture the tone and character of the '70s Wide Range humbuckers. These are wide-open, expressive pickups with a lot of power, and the three-way switch, volume, and tone controls lend a ton of flexibility.
