One of the newest additions to the Martin lineup, the D-28 StreetLegend pays tribute to postwar D-28, and it features a satin finish with visual, simulated wear inspired by historic models found in the Martin museum. Make no mistake—this isn't a relic (no medieval tools used here!) The guitar is pristine, but it has the look of an old weathered guitar. It's very cool effect that gives you the look of an old-sound Martin, but a brand new guitar with all of the innovations of Martin's 185 years of guitar building.
The D-28 StreetLegend combines the most sought-after vintage appointments, including open gear tuners, 1-3/4" nut width, antique white binding, and a satin-aged tortoise pickguard. With a modern neck profile and PLEK treatment, this D-28 StreetLegend provides a modern precision, feel, and an overall comfortable playing experience.
