The Quilter MicroBlock 45 provides 45 watts of powerful tone in a pocket-size package (roughly the size of an effect pedal). With plenty of volume for practice or a small venue, the MicroBlock is handy tool for musicians on the go. It's also a great backup that easily fits into a gig bag. If you've ever had a tube amp fail on stage, you know how useful a trusty backup can be!
Despite the small size of the MicroBlock 45, 45 watts is generous output—more than sufficient for practice and plenty for a small to medium-size venue. Even though it only has three controls, the MicroBlock 45 gives you a wide range of tone, too. The Gain knob is straightforward—it controls the amp level. Next is the Tri-Q control, which smoothly blends between three popular tone settings: “Scoop” on the left, “Normal” at 50%, and “Lead” to the right. This knob is the key to unlocking the wide variety of sounds. From there, Master sets the overall volume from full output down to zero with no change in overdrive or tone. The knobs are simple to operate, and they're pretty sensitive, too, which only makes them more flexible.
This 2018 Quilter MicroBlock is gently used and functions 100% as it should with no issues. It's fairly clean all around with minimal signs of wear or use. It includes its original box, manual, paperwork, and 24V power supply.
