The Taylor T5 is one of the most versatile and usable hybrid acoustic-electric guitars ever made. The T5 combines a comfortable, thinline hollowbody template with unique pickups to provide gigging musicians with a wide array of electric and amplified acoustic flavors, all in one guitar. A visible bridge humbucker pickup and a concealed neck pickup crank out electric tones, while an active soundboard and a magnetic acoustic Body Sensor pickup capture a natural-sounding acoustic voice. Via the 5-way switch mounted on the side, you can flip through versatile pickup options that allow you to cover a wide territory of sound. Plus, there's treble and bass boost/cut knobs, so you can really dial in the right tone!
The Taylor T5z Custom features a Hawaiian Koa top and a gorgeous "Shaded Edgeburst" top finish. From the first chord, it's easy to understand why these guitars are so popular. They sound great in every setting, and as you flip through the 5-way switch, there's a lot of variation in sound. At the same time, the T5 also has a very playable hyrbrid neck—more of an acoustic profile, but a 24-7/8" scale, strung up with .011s for smooth electric playability.

This 2016 Taylor T5z Custom Koa shows some minor playwear, but it is in excellent condition overall with no severe dings or cosmetic blemishes (see photos). It is set up properly with inviting, low action, and it comes 100% as advertised—this guitar covers so much sonic territory! Original hardshell case included.
