The BOSS RC-300 marked a turning point in the evolution of live looping. Designed to be  the most expansive pedalboard unit in BOSS's Loop Station lineup, it provides a powerful platform for creating layered arrangements in real time. More than a simple phrase recorder, the RC-300 can function as the centerpiece of a live setup, offering the control and flexibility needed to turn individual ideas into fully realized musical passages for richer, more engaging performances.

At the heart of the RC-300 are three independent stereo phrase tracks, each with dedicated footswitches and volume faders. Loops can be recorded, overdubbed, and managed separately in each phrase track, allowing you to build arrangements one layer at a time and bring individual parts in and out of the mix as needed. An integrated expression pedal, onboard effects, rhythm accompaniment, MIDI capability, USB connectivity, and even XLR microphone input with phantom power further expand what you can do with the RC-300. Equally at home on stage, in the studio, or as a songwriting tool, this is a rich music-making device that opens doors to new possibilities.

Like the entire Boss RC line, the RC-300 is known for its intuitive workflow. Rather than relying on complicated footswitch combinations or menu diving, nearly every essential function is available at a glance. Guitarists can create rhythm, lead, and ambient layers independently, while vocalists and multi-instrumentalists can incorporate multiple sound sources into a performance with ease. The wide floorboard layout keeps everything accessible, encouraging creativity without interrupting the flow of a performance.

This 2014 Boss RC-300 is used and shows some minor signs of handling and use. The worst are some scuffs on the corners. We've done our best to capture everything in the photos. It has been fully tested, and it functions 100% as intended. It includes a Boss PSA Adapter. Whether you're exploring looping for the first time or looking for a comprehensive live looping workstation, the RC-300 remains one of the most capable and musician-friendly designs ever produced.
