Sporting their namesake black pickguards, Fender's made-in-Mexico Blacktop Series guitars bring hot humbucking pickups to classic Fender designs. These guitars deliver thick, heavy sounds to meet the demands of modern musicians. Fender Blacktops will match the intensity of any playing style!

The Fender Blacktop Telecaster HH is a no-nonsense dual-humbucker rock and roll machine. It features an alder body outfitted with two "Hot Vintage" alnico humbuckers. These over-wound pickups are hot! They can easily deliver high-gain power to push your amp into smooth overdrive territory, but they clean up nicely with the volume control. String-through body and hardtail bridge help improve sustain, too. Plus, the Blacktop Tele also features a reverse control plate. For players who really want to dig in aggressively, this keeps the pickup selector out of harm's way. But for players who want to broaden their technique, this setup allows unique access to the volume and tone controls for volume swells and classic chicken-pickin' tele tricks. All in all, the Blacktop Telecaster HH is bitchin' tele that will blow your mind without breaking the bank.

This 2011 Fender Blacktop Telecaster is in excellent condition with some bumps and bruises (see photos) but it's fairly clean all around. Its original skirted black amp knobs are included, but the previous owner swapped them out for traditional barrel-style Telecaster knobs. This is setup properly, and plays like a dream up and down the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Its maple neck also shows some gorgeous birdseye figuring—an unexpected, but greatly welcomed surprise. Its distinctive black pickguard is the perfect complement to Fender's classic Candy Apple Red finish.
