Reimagined for 2020, the Martin X-Series models now sport select hardwood fingerboards and bridges (instead of Richlite composite) as well as updated appointments such as a Pearloid rosette. While the genuine wood bridge and fingerboard certainly enhance the guitar's sound transfer, the nicer-looking appointments don't affect the sound, but they sure do add to the guitar's mojo!
The Martin 00L-X2E features a slope-shoulder 00-size body constructed of a solid Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany-pattered High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) back and sides. It is a lively sounding small-body that packs impressive bass for its size. A natural choice for fingerpicking and the blues, the 00L-X2E is still a versatile guitar that can cover a lot of territory. Plus, its size is comfortable on your lap and manageable around the living room. With Fishman MX electronics under the hood, the 00L-X2E is ready to take you wherever your music needs to go.
