This Martin 00-17SE in Black Smoke finish features a 12-fret 00 body that is comfortable on your lap, and its tone is bright and snappy with impressive volume for a small body, thanks to lightweight 1/4" scalloped bracing. The combination of a Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, and Rosewood fingerboard and bridge provide a familiar warm tone that is dry and woody. Unlike the guitars of yesteryear, this 00-17SE sports a Modified Low Oval neck profile and Martin's Performing Artist neck taper. As a result, this guitar is extremely playable. With an innovative Fishman Matrix VT Enhance under the hood, this Martin 00-17SE is ready for the stage and the studio, too.
