Since 1994, RR Gadow Guitars has focused on building versatile, modern instruments that take the spirit of music back its roots. With jam sessions, grassroots collaborations, and hard-working tour schedules in mind, their custom-made guitars are designed to be played by real musicians, not to be collected as investments and mounted to show.
This 2004 Gadow Custom Hollow may be one of the most versatile electric guitars we’ve had on the wall. Combining elements of hollow-body richness, solid-body rock power, and bolt-on neck twang and sparkle, the Custom Hollow packages a wide array of tones that allow you to cover a lot of territory. It features a semi-hollow body with a gorgeous figured Maple top and a birdseye Maple neck. Under the hood, you’ll find two custom-wound Fralin humbuckers, which can each be coil-tapped independently for single-coil sound. With a three way switch and volume/tune controls (that go to 11!), this template unlocks a ton of different electric guitar sounds.
This 2004 Gadow Custom Hollow is a cool guitar from an interesting builder. It is in excellent condition with no history of repairs or issues, and it sports a GraphTech ResoMax bridge. It shows some cosmetic wear, bumps, nicks, and scratches (see photos) because it has been played. That’s because it’s a guitar that will fit just about any setting, so you’ll want to play it, too.
