In the Taylor lineup, the 300 series typically feature Sapele back and sides with a  Spruce or Sapele top, but this 2021 324ce is a little bit different. It features a Grand Auditorium body constructed of a Tropical Mahogany top and Tasmanian Blackwood back sides. Like the rest of the 300 Series, this 324ce boasts Taylor's V-Class bracing to enhance sustain and volume, but the combination of Mahogany and Blackwood give it an interesting tone profile. The Grand Auditorium is a versatile size, and the unique wood complement gives this guitar a warmth and richness all its own.

In addition to the unexpected wood complement, this 324ce is also decked out in Taylor's gorgeous "Shaded Edgeburst" finish. The binding is black, but the white/black/white purfling around the top edge pops against the dark tones of the outer sunburst. It has a matching black headstock with black tuning machines, and that makes the dark Ebony fingerboard blend right into the headstock. The intricate inlays add a touch of elegance, and they help guide your way up the fingerboard.

Like may Taylors, the 324ce has a Venetian Cutaway, which opens the access into the upper register. This guitar is intended to be as versatile as possible, and the cutaway unlocks the guitar's full potential. Under the hood, Taylor's ES2 electronics deliver natural, warm tone through an amp or audio interface. Out of the box, this Taylor is ready for whatever you can throw at it.

This 2021 Taylor 324ce is gently used, and it shows some minor signs of play wear and use (see photos). But all in all, it is in nice cosmetic shape, and there's not to much to argue with. It has a fast, low setup that allows you to explore the entire fingerboard with ease, and fret wear is absolutely minimal. It sounds great unplugged, but it really shines plugged in. Especially in front of a band.

This 2021 Taylor 324ce includes its original case.
