In 1967, the Thomas Organ company introduced the "Cry Baby" wah pedal—a thinly-veiled copy of the Vox V845 wah pedal made famous by Jimi Hendrix. Originally manufactured in Sepulveda, California, the Cry-Baby Model 95-910511 became a widely available and heavily influential sound in a variety of different musical genres. According to the original marketing materials, its vocal sweep "makes the grooviest sounds you've ever heard!" While many wah-wahs have come and gone, not many match up to the musical, rich tone of the original vintage units.

With its heavily worn enclosure, this 1977 Thomas Organ Cry-Baby will bring serious mojo to any pedalboard. This one features the sought-after "Stack of Dimes" inductor, which produces rich and cutting tone. This Crybaby also has a modern Dunlop Hot Potz potentiometer, and its battery clip has been repaired. It is 100% functional, and it sounds fantastic.
