This 2018 OM-DB Signature features a 14-fret Orchestra Model body constructed of an Italian Spruce top and book-matched Cocobolo back and sides. From there, highly-flamed Koa binding creates the perfect visual complement. No other decoration is required. The result is a guitar that is elegant and understated, but with the refined tone of exotic tonewoods.
In your hands, this OM-DB Signature produces a balanced, lush sound that is rich in clarity and high-end detail. Articulate mid-range and tight bass presence balance out bell-like treble notes, and what's especially impressive is the sustain—notes ring out and resonate with harmonic richness. This Bourgeois is well-voiced so that the top is responsive with a wide dynamic range. Its complex tone is an obvious choice for a fingerstyle player, but it has the headroom and power to keep up with a strong flat pick just the same.
Although it was made in 2018, this Bourgeois OM-DB Signature doesn't appear to have been played very much. There is some minor play wear to the back of the neck, but the frets and fingerboard are pristine. The body is free of dings, scratches, or cosmetic damage. Really, the most obvious sign that it's a used guitar are some bumps along the edge of the headstock. Other than that, this guitar is ready to lead you wherever your music takes you!
